What is a woman?

Women are adult female humans and are typically characterized by biological and physiological differences from men. Women have two X chromosomes and are capable of bearing children through pregnancy and childbirth. They also tend to have higher levels of estrogen and progesterone hormones compared to men.

Women have historically been marginalized in many societies and have faced discrimination and unequal treatment in various aspects of life, including access to education, employment, and political representation. However, women have made significant strides in achieving equality and empowerment in recent decades, with increased opportunities for education, career advancement, and leadership roles.

Women play a vital role in both the family and the workforce, as caregivers, nurturers, and contributors to the economy. They also excel in various fields such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics, arts, and social sciences. Women’s rights and gender equality continue to be important social and political issues around the world.
